This weekend it has to be all about Bonfire night, which is my second favourite celebration (after Christmas of course!).

After November 1st as far as I am concerned only hot alcohol goes. So for Bonfire night I'm planning on filling up a thermos flask with some hot buttered rum (my tipple of choice in the run up to Christmas), buying some overpriced sparklers and attempting to write my full name in sparklers and (oh, and capture it on film).

notwithoutsalt has a fantastic hot buttered rum recipe which involves making your own spiced butter. Which frankly makes me feel a bit like an English Martha Stewart. So thats an automatic two thumbs up!

This weekend also sees the return of the awesome Renegade Craft Fair at the Truman Brewery. Its chock full of talented makers and their wares, so if you are in the London area you should definitely get down there.

Lastly as it gets close to Christmas Im starting to think about cards. I want to make a statement this year and get a little crafty, so I've been eyeing up these workshops put on by Lamplighter London. I missed out this time (places sell out super quick!) but am hoping to get in on their next one (they usually do one a month).

Have a wonderful weekend peeps. I hope everyone enjoys Bonfire night. May your sparklers live long enough to write out your name (or something a little cheeky)!
